Overview
This is the fifth installment in Poison’s erotic RPG series! This game is designed as a 100% pure contemporary school RPG. It’s a unique RPG in the doujin community, focused on creating a modern school setting. The RPG elements are kept simple, emphasizing more on the heroine’s adventures in an ADV-like structure.
Story
Set in a corner of the city stands the “Private Ryourin Academy.” Founded on the motto “Nurture students’ independence and develop a strong character in both mind and body,” the academy entrusts most of its operations to the student council. Here, Aoi Nanami, who unexpectedly gets recommended to the disciplinary committee, begins to solve various issues within the academy.
Game System
This school RPG progresses in an AVD+RPG format across six chapters. The protagonist advances to the next chapter by resolving various issues brought to her.
Basic progression involves:
Exploration → Training → Combat
Exploration Part
In the exploration part, the player gathers information, finds useful items, and prepares for battles with troublesome students. This part has no encounters and is similar to town exploration in standard RPGs.
Training Part
This part serves as the level-raising section. Instead of endlessly defeating minor enemies, the player’s level increases based on the number of enemies defeated within a set time, from level 1 up to a maximum of 10. This adds a strategic element to what would otherwise be routine battles.
Training can be attempted once per chapter. Levels reset at the start of each chapter, preventing excessive level gaps and ensuring manageable gameplay difficulty.
Combat Part
This involves battles with each chapter’s boss, who is a troublesome student. Based on the information gathered during the exploration part, the player must strategize using effective items, equipment, and skill distribution to defeat them.
For example:
High attack power boss → Allocate more to defense.
High defense power boss → Allocate more to attack.
Chain Events and Avoidance
All H-events in Ryourin Academy are interconnected across chapters. If the player loses and an event occurs in chapter 1, it can lead to threats and escalating demands in chapter 2. Continuously complying with these demands leads to a bad ending. Each event has ways to be avoided (with some exceptions). Players can choose to enjoy the chain leading to a bad end or aim for the ending by avoiding events, leaving all decisions up to the player.
Endings
There are four different endings, branching based on the protagonist’s contribution as a disciplinary committee member. Consistently losing to troublesome students and failing to solve problems lowers the protagonist’s reputation, leading to a tragic conclusion.
